Reflections on Turning 27

Another year older, another year wiser? Let’s find out. Read more below as I share my reflections on turning 27.

I’m officially 27, and my late twenties are in sight. I’m getting older, which I will always view as a gift. So many don’t make it this far.

I am glad that I had the opportunity to celebrate a bit this past weekend. I attended a puppy yoga class, which is something I had been wanting to do for awhile, and it was SO much fun! The majority of the time was definitely spent snuggling/playing with the puppies rather than doing yoga, but it was definitely worth it. I recommend checking out Paw Pals Puppy Yoga if you are in Toronto and want to join them for a class! They usually offer classes on weekends with a couple different timeslots. Puppies are from local mamas, and it gives the opportunity for them to practice their socialization – and for us to enjoy their company.

After puppy yoga, I grabbed my birthday starbucks and headed back home to take a shower. I got all dolled up to head out for a nice dinner with friends. We went to Nodo, where I had previously visited in the summer and absolutely loved. It did not disappoint!! We visited the Hillcrest location and I had the Garganelli Cavolfiore Gratinato pasta, which was delicious, a few drinks, and my sweet friends treated me to some ice cream for dessert. It was the perfect way to end off the evening and celebrations. I am so grateful to those who were able to celebrate with me!

As I am continuing to get older, I notice that I spend even more time reflecting. The luxury of getting older for me, is getting even more clear about what I want and my priorities in life. I am looking forward to centering my life around them, and making time for what’s really important moving forward.

Thank you for being on this journey and continuing to support me along the way. For even more behind-the-scenes, make sure to subscribe to my email list for updates. XO, C.
