You may have heard me mention that 2025 is the year of no more second chances. Well, it’s finally time for that to come to fruition with the launch of my second book! No More Second Chances: poems to heal your heart is my second book of poetry, set to release on February 15! We have a lot of exciting events happening on launch day, and I’m here to share all of the details with you. Read on for more about how you can join me to celebrate my book 2 launch!
Public Launch & Book Signing
We are kicking off launch day with the FIRST EVER book signing event for No More Second Chances! It will be taking place at Indigo Kelowna from 12-5pm. Over the past year, I attended many book signings here for Blooming and was so hopeful that I could host one for No More Second Chances too. When I asked, the Indigo Kelowna team said yes, and I’m SO excited to be there for our first run!!
This event is of course open to the public. We’ll be set up in Indigo Kelowna at Orchard Park Mall with all of the bells and whistles: flowers, posters, balloons, exciting vibes, and of course, books. We will have many, many books available for you to purchase and get signed by me! I hope to see you there! 📚
After Hours Poetry Soiree
In the evening, we’ll be switching gears slightly to host an after hours poetry soiree. This event will be taking place at The Flamingo Room in Kelowna, located above Motherlove Kombucha at 889 Vaughan Avenue. From 7-9pm we’ll be on-site with kombucha tastings, desserts, and allll the vibes. Of course, I’ll also be READING from No More Second Chances for the first time! Join me for the evening to hear some poetry that may make you smile, cry, gasp, and maybe even laugh.
This exclusive event is designed for family and friends, but the public is welcome to attend as well! I’ve created a Facebook event for this portion of the book launch, and you can RSVP there. The full schedule of events will be shared there shortly. Please note, the reading will begin promptly at 7:15pm. 🎙🧾
Amazon Launch
Our Amazon release date is set for February 28. If you have a Kindle and you’re a fan of e-books, you can officially pre-order your copy of No More Second Chances now. It will be automatically delivered to your Kindle on February 28! If you are not able to make the launch event in-person, you’ll be able to order a paperback copy via Amazon at the end of the month as well. The option to order paperbacks will be live on February 28.
